I provide help for many different aspects of computers. Below is a list of some of my more common jobs.

I'm familiar with several operating systems, including Mac OS, Windows, and Linux.
No matter what kind of computer you have, I can at least make a best attempt to fix your problem.
While I do try to be as easy as possible to work with , I do have some guidelines.
I follow these closely with very few exceptions.
- I will always tell you to restart your computer before I give any other suggestions.
- Believe it or not, a simple restart can fix many problems.
- Save yourself some time and try this before you talk to me.
- If you're dropping a computer off at my house, please call me ahead of time or leave a note explaining the problem.
- Nothing is more annoying than getting home and seeing a computer on the table with no clue what's wrong with it.
- I do not restore files deleted by accident, files lost due to a crashed hard drive, or loss of data by any other means.
- I will, however, help with recovery if you have a backup.
- I can help choose a backup option for your needs and make it work.
- Power cords must be included with laptops brought to my house.
- Most repairs take longer than the battery lasts.
- I won't start a process if I know the battery will die halfway through.
- I do not restore files unless you have a recent backup.
- Passwords must be provided.
- I do not store your passwords in any way.
- I usually forget passwords by the next day. No need to worry about me trying to use it online.
- If you don't provide a password and don't respond to my call asking for it,
your repair will be put on hold until the next time I am available. - Keep in mind that I only do repairs, I don't do any designing or general tasks, including
but not limited to: typing word documents, making powerpoint presentations, burning cd's, etc... - I do not restore files unless you have a recent backup.
- Have I made my point yet about backups?
